Announcing Kevin Nørby Andersen As Keynote Speaker

We are delighted to announce that Kevin Nørby Andersen of www.superultra.dk will be a keynote speaker at the workshop.

It is super exciting to have practitioner who is learning about AI through making and doing. The abstract for Kevin’s talk is below.

Learning through making with AI

With a decade of interaction design experience at companies like LEGO and Bang & Olufsen and as a visiting scientist at MIT Media Lab, Kevin Nørby Andersen continuously explores new relationships between humans and technology.

Through his design studio super ultra, he uses a constructivist researching-through-making approach to build new interactions, interfaces and mental models - using technology as a material.

For the past few years, the new wave of generative AI technologies has shown to be a powerful tool and material for this work. But to understand a material, it is necessary to learn about it by using and manipulating it. In this talk, Kevin will show examples of what and how he builds with and for generative AI, and bring his reflections on how the industry is responding to the new challenges and opportunities facing them.
