UbiFix Workshop: Tackling Repairability Challenges

Along with colleagues I am co-organising the First International Workshop exploring the Technical, Social and Legal aspects of IoT repairability at the UbiComp conference in October 2023. This is part of the Fixing the Future project, how the repairability of Internet of Things devices has an impact on equitability.

The workshop aims to.

  • orient you to the current literature
  • invite you and others to critique the state-of-the-art in Repairability
  • encourage a group imagination of a future with more Repairability

To attend you can either submit a provocation or write a position paper. Full details on the website and in the poster below. You can help promote this call by retweeting! Thanks.
